Jennifer Poole, VP - Marketing & Operations

Jennifer Reed Poole received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in graphic design and advertising from Oklahoma State University in 1990. She has worked in marketing, sales, management and operations for a variety of industries such as banking, a non-profit United Way agency as well as University alumni relations and development. In the past four years, prior to joining Excel, she served as a regional medical sales director for an outpatient physical therapy & diagnostic imaging corporation.

Jennifer is a founding partner and Vice President of Excel Therapy Specialists, LLC. She serves the company as the Chief Marketing and Operations Officer. Jennifer is an avid OSU Cowboy fan and enjoys spending time with her family at Grand Lake, sailing in the Caribbean with her husband and friends, and golfing. She and her husband, Tracy, have one daughter.

Michaele Twigg - Director of Operations

Michaele graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology.  After graduation, she moved to Baltimore, MD where she attended Johns Hopkins Medical Institution and received a degree in the Clinical Cellular Sciences.  Michaele returned to Oklahoma and was employed by St. John Medical Center for 5 years in the pathology dept. as a staff cytotechnologist.  During this time, she attended OSU-Tulsa and received her Master’s Degree in Health Care Administration.  She has been working for Excel since late 2007 and is enjoying the transition into the administrative sector of health care.  Her hobbies include: going to see live music, overindulging in satire, and spending time with friends and family.

Janet Mullins, Medical Billing Associate, Broken Arrow, OK Billings & Collections

Janet has worked in the medical field since 1997 with experience related managing front offices including scheduling, insurance verification and patient management. She enjoys spending time with her two children as they grow into fine individuals. Her hobbies consist of reading, going to movies and being with her sisters and family.

Carissa Thoma
Carissa has been working in the business field for 10 years.  She began working as an intern with the Broken Arrow ESC where she gained experience in reception, data entry, and customer relations. She began working for Excel as their front office manager handling: scheduling, insurance verification and patient management.  Carissa now works in the Billing and Collections Department where she helps to manage accounts receivable and collections. In her free time, Carissa enjoys reading, writing, working on her new house, and spending time with her husband and dog.
